On June 11th, a delegation from the Hongguang Special Project conducted a pre-acceptance inspection of the company's Lianyuan project. Following the on-site visit, investigation, and discussions, the delegation expressed full affirmation of the Jiangsu Lianyuan project.
In 2017, the company's "Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal Gasification Technology" project was successfully selected for the Chinese Academy of Sciences' "Hongguang Special Project" plan, becoming one of the ten chosen initiatives. The Jiangsu Lianyuan 5000Nm3/h Coal-to-Clean Industrial Gas project serves as a practical demonstration of this technology. After more than 100 days of precise construction, the project successfully began gas supply in January this year. Following five months of trial operation, the project is functioning normally and meets the acceptance criteria.
The Hongguang Special Project delegation successively toured the project's central control room, gasification unit, downstream gasification heating furnace, and forging equipment, among other facilities. Yu Kuangshi, the company's General Manager, provided the delegation with an overview of the Lianyuan project. He stated, "The greatest significance of the Lianyuan project lies in it being the first project undertaken by our company, and also our first major achievement under the Hongguang Special Project plan. Currently, the 5000Nm3/h Coal-to-Clean Industrial Gas project is the first engineering project of this scale in China, offering a development model for the transformation, upgrading, energy saving, and environmental protection of numerous small and medium-sized enterprises.”
During the discussion meeting, the Hongguang Special Project delegation listened to the project leader's report and provided valuable feedback, particularly on the progress made towards the project's phased objectives. This prepares the company for the next stage: welcoming the Hongguang Special Project expert group for the final project acceptance. (By Cong Zhong)
